How to find the best cryptocurrencies
Depending on the day of the week or the hour, minute, second, you will find someone saying which coins are being discussed across the globe. For example, a few weeks ago and probably still, everyone is talking about Ripple (XPR). Ripple is a digital currency that “connects banks, payment providers, digital asset exchanges and corporates via RippleNet to provide one frictionless experience to send money globally.”
There are many coins to explore and the best way to find what’s blazing is to do your own RESEARCH. I tend to look at different message boards and join Facebook groups to see what people are talking about. Now, you may find some groups that aren’t willing to share information (HATERS). Believe me, there is enough money out here for everyone, so share the knowledge.
Once you do your research, DETERMINE which coins make the most sense to you while continuing to read the message boards. Lastly, stay aware of the current news/events as they are happening in the world. With that being said, it’s easy to see how Ripple can be of extreme value. For example, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that “connecting banks and payment providers” is important.
What if my cyptocurrency is not Bitcoin or Ethereum
Our last article was more of an entry point into the cryptocurrency arena, talking about the major currencies – Bitcoin and Ethereum and diversification. So, now that Bitcoin or Ethereum has been purchased, you can use that to buy other coins, such as Ripple. If you’re using Coinbase, like me, funding your account with a credit card is “much” quicker than using a bank account.
Is Poloniex the only place to purchase cryptocurrency?
No, there are several other exchanges where you can make a purchase, such as Gemini, CEX, Changelly, Coinmama, Bitstamp.
Can I buy other coins in places other than Poloniex?
Yep, you sure can. Just head over to Bittrex, Binance, or Kraken.
